I’m
Terry
Mackey from Carlisle, PA. You may have seen my merchandise somewhere in the New
England area, and as far West as Indianapolis, Indiana, as far south as Mt.
Dora, Florida, to Nashville Tennessee, and all the other good shows in between.
I have been
buying my merchandise since 1974, over a thirty-year period, I have never bought
as a collector, and everything I buy gets a price tag to sell to a customer. My
thrill in this business is to sell a good item to a customer who is hungry for a
good item for their collection. Lets face it, we never forget where we found or
bought a good piece of merchandise. Here’s a cutie, I don’t believe in rare
items, just tough, tough things to find, (who ever heard of making only (1) item
in glass or china?)
When I
started in my candy (antique) shop, I was in the Silver Springs Flea Market, in
one location for 13 years. Today, they just closed that market January 14th,
2006, ending an era of time for me. In my last year at the flea market, I
started a booth at the Northgate Antique Mall, (the famous saying-“I found it
at Northgate”, of which I have been a dealer in one location for 20 years. I
now have two booths, one with seven showcases, the other with nine showcases,
and both filled with china and glass. I have no intention of moving these cases!
Due to
economic times, I am forced to go to the Internet with my business. I got tons
of merchandise, don’t even know what I have but I am going to try and give you
snap shot of my merchandise. As you can see, I like to buy a lot of different
things in glass, china, and lighting (lamps). Now let’s go and have fun! I am
a dealer and I love to spend money, so more than likely, you and I can deal.
